Day 1

Breakfast:

  • 1 serving of fruit
  • Wholemeal bread and low-fat cottage cheese on two pieces
  • A container of fat-free living yogurt
  • A little glass of skim milk
  • A cup of water or herbal tea

Lunch:

  • 1 fruit kiwi
  • A mixture of uncooked vegetables 
  • Olive oil and a chopped clove of garlic are added to the vegetables.
  • Water or herbal tea

Dinner:

  • Steamed vegetables with an omelet
  • Water

Day 2

Breakfast:

  • Green smoothie

Lunch:

  • 1 big mango
  • A mixed salad 
  • 1 large jacket potato with whipped low-fat fromage frais, chives, and a garlic clove
  • Water or fruit juice

Dinner:

  • Vegetable Stew
  • Water

Day 3

Breakfast:

  • As in previous breakfasts

Lunch:

  • Lentils and chickpea soup
  • Herbal Tea

Dinner:

  • Cooked brown rice with steamed vegetables
  • Water

Day 4

Breakfast:

  • As in previous breakfasts

Lunch:

  • A pear and an apple
  • Uncooked veggie salad
  • Large jacket potato stuffed with 75g (3oz) of steamed spinach, 2 teaspoons of olive oil, a garlic clove, and liberal amounts of grated nutmeg
  • Water or herbal tea

Dinner:

  • Baked Salmon 
  • Water

Day 5

Breakfast:

  • As in previous breakfasts

Lunch:

  • One banana
  • Mixed salad with tarragon, walnut, and lemon juice dressing
  • Runner beans or French beans cooked in sunflower oil with a dessertspoon of finely chopped onions and 1 large jacket potato
  • Water or herbal tea

Dinner:

  • 1 grapefruit in pink
  • 2 free-range poached eggs
  • 2 pieces of butter-scraped whole-wheat bread
  • Water or herbal tea

Day 6

Breakfast:

  • As in previous breakfasts

Lunch:

  • Trout stuffed with finely chopped veggies
  • 75g (3oz) of mixed salad with a touch of olive oil

Dinner:

  • Lentil and vegetable salad
  • Water

Day 7

Breakfast:

  • As in previous breakfasts

Lunch:

  • Cucumber and prawn stir fry
  • Herbal Tea

Dinner:

  • Quinoa and butternut squash salad
  • Water
