Dine at Vantage Rooftop Lounge

Man and Woman Dining

Vantage Rooftop Lounge is Springfield’s new rooftop bar and is ideal for a classy night out. The addition of Hotel Vandivort, V2, which was completed in 2019, gives a breathtaking perspective of the city. The Vantage is expected to become a favourite among residents and tourists with to its gorgeous European Art Deco design, living flora inside, and a variety of soft sitting outdoors, including private cabanas.

The $9.75 million second phase of the hotel, which is co-owned by John and Karen McQueary and his brother Billy, was designed by the Lamar Johnson Collaborative LLC. The hotel’s head of sales and marketing, Tessa LeRoy, declined to say how much it cost to open the lounge, which has a large skylight and internal space furnished in a European art deco style. LeRoy said that the outside rooftop features a variety of soft sitting options, including private cabanas.

View That Catches a Breath

Vantage is split into two halves, much like the hotel. There are 60 chairs in a lavish indoor lounge that is furnished with a large Masonic “V,” deep green furnishings, charcoal gray tiles, a high skylight, warm wood panelled walls, and hanging plants. The setting is like a scene from a movie but to surprise of everyone, this is all real at this majestic place.

Vantage provides amazing spectacular view of north, west, and south Springfield as you step onto its open rooftop, affording guests uncommon glances of downtown skyline that are hard to see at street level. It is not easy to find such spots in places as they offer a therapeutic sensation for their visitors. Food with a view like this will surely make you feel elevated.

Eat and Dine

With seating options ranging from booths to tall-top tables, Vantage’s outdoor area can accommodate 225 guests. To enjoy the views, guests can sit on the balcony seats that line the rooftop bar’s perimeter. A $350 food and beverage minimum is required from visitors to hire one of the two cabanas, which may accommodate 12 to 18 people, for private gatherings and parties. The effect is completed with fire pits, gas-lit lamps, and several containers filled with herbs.

For large gatherings or small gatherings, Vantage provides a variety of shareable meals. A large selection of hand-crafted cocktails, a sizable wine list, and a beer menu are available to guests.

Food options include Asian-style BBQ short ribs, pretzel nibbles, and smoked chicken wings. Cocktails and regional craft beers are served at the “fire onyx bar,” which has an orange-red light. Snack mixtures, pineapple orange shortcake, and flatbread pizzas with goat cheese and mushrooms are also an addition.

People who hate the cold may not enjoy winter, but a warm igloo at this site could change their minds. From November to March, the rooftop bar erects the plastic igloos, which are popular with both residents and visitors passing through the neighbourhood.
